Song lyrics
Hej! Spójrz w niebo! Co tam świeci?! To Słońce wysłało cząstki do Ziemi! Zorza! Zorza! Zorza gra! Do Ziemi bram! To energia! Fizyka śpiewa dziś dla nas! Na Słońcu burza, płomień gra, w przestrzeń cząstek rusza mgła. Wiatr słoneczny niesie moc, przemierza pustkę dzień i noc. Z energii! Pole Ziemi strzeże nas, lecz przy biegunach wpuszcza blask! Zielenią tlen rozświetla noc, Zielony blask! Azot daje fioletu moc, Fioletowy znak! Atom wzbudza się i wraca — foton leci, zorza tańczy! Ziemia magnes w sobie ma, magnetosfera tarczę zna. Nie każda cząstka spada w dół, pole zakrzywia cały ruch. Czemu biegun? Czemu blask? Czemu kolor? Czemu czas? Energia wchodzi! Energia wraca! Foton wylatuje! Zorza się obraca! I wtedy noc, z pozoru czarna, robi się zielona, czerwona, fioletowa, barwna! Zielony? Tlen niżej świeci! Czerwony? Tlen wysoko leci! Fiolet, niebieski? Azot daje znak! Kolory zorzy — nauki blask! To fizyka! Zorza świeci, gdy energia znika! Spójrz w niebo… nauka tańczy…
Translation
Hey! Look at the sky! What's shining up there?! The Sun sent particles toward Earth! Aurora! Aurora! Aurora at play! Science paints our night with light! Electron, proton—a cosmic flight, racing from the Sun through the cold and dark. Where are they going? To Earth's gateway! What will happen? The sky will light up! Aurora, aurora, dancing up high, writing in colors across the clouds! Oxygen glows green at night, nitrogen shines with violet light! It's not magic! It's energy! Physics sings for us today! A storm on the Sun, flames at play, a cloud of particles races into space. The solar wind carries power, crossing the void both day and night. When the Sun grows more intense, a plasma burst goes racing out. After two or three days, at Earth's gateway, it meets the field that protects us. On and on the particle wind flies, through the dark expanse of space. Will it reach Earth today? Will it light the silent night? Aurora, aurora, dance across the sky! Dance across the sky! Light is born from energy! From energy! Earth's field protects us, but near the poles, it lets the glow in! Oxygen lights the night with green, A green glow! Nitrogen brings violet power, A violet sign! An atom gets excited, then returns— a photon flies, the aurora dances! Earth has a magnet inside, and the magnetosphere forms a shield. Not every particle falls downward, the field bends its entire path. Why the poles? Why the glow? Why the colors? Why this timing? Because the field lines lead down there, where particles find a gateway in. In the ionosphere, they meet the gases— oxygen and nitrogen give off light. A particle strikes. An atom receives energy. The atom is excited. Then it drops back down. Energy goes in! Energy comes back out! A photon flies out! The aurora swirls around! And then the night, which seemed so black, turns green, red, violet, and colorful! Green? Oxygen glows lower down! Red? Oxygen glows high above! Violet and blue? Nitrogen gives the sign! Aurora colors—the glow of science! Aurora, aurora, dance across the sky, space sings for Earth today! The Sun sent out a wind of particles, the magnetosphere changed their path! Oxygen and nitrogen glow at night, each color has its own power. An atom gets excited, then returns— a photon flies, the aurora dances! It's not magic! It's physics! The aurora glows when energy is released! Look at the sky... science is dancing...

How Does a TV Make a Fish Move? A Kids’ Song

Maja turns on the TV and wonders how a fish can swim across the screen—and where its splash comes from. This song explores how a signal guides pixels and speakers, how changing still pictures appear to move, and how a vibrating speaker moves the air to make sound.

The Sun’s Winter Clock: Why Are Days Shorter in Poland?

Why does the Sun rise later and set earlier in Poland during winter? This curious, rhythmic children’s song shows how Earth’s tilted axis gives Poland less time in sunlight. A simple lamp-and-globe model helps explain day, night, and the Sun’s low-looking path as seen from Earth.
